Glad the clio is sorted. Avoid getting pissed on sat 18th.
Hard to tell whether or not I held them up as I led for quite a bit. The overtaking oomph of the Tamara was impressive when I was following. The bm handles really well so you can carry a lot of speed. Certainly wasn't embarrassed. Will be even better when the diff is rebuilt!

Aye,i'd agree with this. They hold their speed across varied roads quite solidly if driven right. Mine feels dull as in normal traffic, but when it's on an open road or a bit of twisty it comes to life.Hard to tell whether or not I held them up as I led for quite a bit. Ha ha... i won't be getting pissed on the 18th mate; I'll be up for a Wales run don't you worry. I will lead on the next Wales run Hard to tell whether or not I held them up as I led for quite a bit. Yep still got the Mini, although it's pretty ratty now. Half a dozen track days have taken it's toll on the engine - noisy supercharger, slight misfire under load and rattly tappets. Also doesn't help that the Mrs crashed in to the back of it so the back bumper is hanging off and the exhaust is bent and blowing...
With our first child on the way and a new house purchase (project) imminent, the Mini's either going to be patched up and sold or probably parked up until I've got the time and money to make it a dedicated track car. Not sure which way to go yet but I have a feeling the baby and the house will decide that one for me.
