Within a few hundred miles the same as our red IE. Condition doesn't look too bad - looks like a good project. The estimate is a bit sad On the subject of the IE Coupe: it runs!. Sort out the hole in the radiator and it's almost time to send it for it's first MOT in 23 years Some gratuitous pictures may follow.
As mentioned above, there had been some right bodging on the rear brakes/handbrake on this jalope. Piston upside down, handbrake wedge loose, and the wrong size of pads just jammed in. All sorted now, and I am shortly booking the heap in for rust blasting and paintwork.

The fuel pump is knackered. The car needs to go on a ramp, as the aftermarket pump is awkwardly placed next to the rear suspension. I need to arrange a tow from my place to a nearby garage.
Its fuel pump failure time...GTV and X19 both knackered last 2 weeks, ive probably replace 2 in the previous 10 yearsBreadvan72 said:
Tell MOAR of the X19 pliz.
Got two 1.3s at the minute...the orange one thats a really nice car with steel wheels and trims, been using that over the summer and its been great...then the red one, which I had all the rust cut out of and repainted in original 1974 fiat kermit green. The painter however removed all the lights and didnt label up the wires, consequently none of the lights work properly which is a pain and I havnt go round to sorting it yet...he also knackered both side/indicator units at the front which are very rare and expensive so Im on the lookout(differ from 1.5 units) for a pair....the good news is both cars are totally rust free which is rare with these, the orange one has a flat spot and I think the carb needs rejetting. My alfasud ti hatch which I bought unseen, it having been in storage for many years, turned out to be the buy of the decade, totally straight on the bodywork, needing just a 2 inch square bit of welding on the scuttle...its having a full paint at the min, I am on the look out for a pair of front seats with " alfa ti logo" trim in red and black if anyone knows of a pair, or of course some new old stock cloth.
Think the next buy is going to be a fiat 850 coupe and a nice VX "shooting brake" if one comes up....
