On the 13th February, after just two and a half years, Sinclair #1 completed its final commute journey to my high school. We've moved a little further away and it simply wouldn't be practical for a 20 mile round trip everyday, mainly as I couldn't be bothered to get up early enough to make it in on time!
I estimate it only covered around 2,300 commute miles but more than double that in getting around places and 35 of those with a loaded trailer! Overall, not a bad way of getting around, Sir Clive wasn't as stupid in inventing it as some thought.
One final picture of it, loaded and off to host a party, really felt the strain on the motor on this particular outing![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)

What happened to the Jag Kamil? Thought that was going to be your first car?
Still with me, I would like to run it as a first car but I'd hate to ruin it with daily use and with the parents offering a relatively new car for me to run around in, I think I may take it. The Jag may well still be run along side the daily when I'm 17 depending upon available funds.kamilb1998 said:
Yup, I turn 17 in March next year. First daily run around will probably be something a tad on the dull side, dad's old Aygo.

It's a 13 plate Aygo. Probably one of the most fun little cars insurable for a 17 year old!
When I was 17 I inherited a ten year old Nissan Bluebird. Be grateful!

Perhaps I am a bit of an ungrateful sod, it's dull compared to other cars but I guess it could be far worse It's a 13 plate Aygo. Probably one of the most fun little cars insurable for a 17 year old!

How did I not see this years ago? This is epic!
Do you still have both of the C5s? I don't have an amazing amount of time to read through the full thread unfortunately, but from what bits I have seen this was an epic mode of transport that I can only imagine got smiles and waves on a daily basis.
The Aygo is a good call. They are nice little cars (I work at both Peugeot and Citroen and drive atleast one of each of their models daily). There could be worse first cars.. Like that Bluebird aforementioned.
