Great car and thread
If visiting Stuttgart and the Porsche museum (highly recommended!) the factory is inside the Stuttgart low emissions zone. You need a €15 green sticker in your windscreen with your number plate on
You can order them on line or pick up in MOT/TUV stations in Germany when you get there.
It’s camera controlled a la ULEZ but not sure it reads UK plates?

Yes - odd
Some great car spotting in the car park under the museum to incl factory cars. So make sure you park down there or go down if you take the tram
If you take your own car you can also park up for a bit on the pavement under the entrance and get some pictures. No one seems to care or stop you. Makes for an interesting active display

Pray for me!
I've found a hotel close to the musuem, I orginally was going to book the V8 but as thats 30 mins drive away from the Musuem I erred on the side of caution. The hotel It's a mere 500m walk, I'm hoping to do both the Porsche & MB Musuems on the same day and then travel back home on the following day, which is a lot of driving in a short amount of time. I really hope that the Cryenne gets me there & back with out issue.
I've driven nearly 600 miles since the repairs and the car is feeling great, but I'm still proper nervous.
Sadly I can't extend the trip due to needing to be back for a funeral.

Just read this thread, very interesting and hats off to the owner.
I had a 59 plate BMW 320i that needed a timing chain. It was an engine out job as it’s at the back of the engine. The bill was over £5k and that was about 11 years ago.
Also, mildly interested in an off road course in the North West I could take my X5 on, obviously needs to be a very easy one. Got stuck in the mud bumping onto a grass verge once
