Just read this from start to finish. All I can say is wow.

Oh where do I get a friend called Darren who has the skills your Darren has. I seriously need a mate like that lol.

Much respect. Fantastic car

Endangered species;)

We worked through the night on Sunday to get the car ready for paint, on the trailer for 6am and dropped off at SP automotive. Will be at least 6 weeks until we get the car back, in the meantime Darren has to strip the engine for a top end rebuild and a skim and I'll be sourcing more new parts that I deemed unfit to go back on along with some refurbishment of parts removed.

By refurbishment do you mean removing boring steel bits and replacing with lovely billet aluminium ones? smile

Darren may be making some new bits wink

But in general no, cleaning up under trays, splitters, canards, brake calipers etc....

You could have just bought one ff the shelf and polished it! Lol any detail on the cores used? How much space is there between the cores?

It's being sprayed now, engine is apart awaiting a rebuild and I've been collecting a st load of new trim parts, anything that I can replace is being replaced.
