Those BMW Performance seats look sensational! It's a shame that BMW didn't fit them as standard as they really add to the look of the interior.
Apart from the upholstery, they are identical to the OEM Recaros in my Renaultsport - think they are Speedster CS. Very comfy and look awesome.

OP: Stunning car, tastefully modified!

Totally agree, these seats should have been an optional extra at the very least. I definitely would have specced them on my 1M. I had very similar seats in my Focus RS and loved them.

Those seats look incredible.

I just picked up a 1M and the only thing that lets the car down is the front seats.

Coming from a CSL and C63, which have amazing seat positions, I need to investigate this option.

Might have to check these out.....

To be honest, I found the standard seats comfortable enough on longer drives to the ring etc and the height difference between the wife and I (5"2 to 5"11) easy enough to adjust the set up each time we swapped drives with the non electric seat, but you held of for dear life to the steering wheel under heavy cornering, but these just fit perfect, coming from similar style of recaros and pole positions prior, these performance seats are spot on and give you back that full bucket seat feel and then the alcantara is spot on and grips you well, and then the overall finish they give to the interior.....Worth the purchase.

Thanks mate, just over 12000 miles on the clock now, made up predominately of the long weekend UK get away drives and PH SS. Next up Euro/Alps drive early Sept, that should put another 4k on the clock, but well worth it.

How you getting on with your M135i?

Another great update and brilliant to see you are so enthusiastic about the car. I hope I can afford one at some point.

Thanks mate, it is one car I have found can not just sit in the garage keeping an eye on the mileage on the clock, it just begs to be driven, and in search of the perfect drivers roads driving

I haven't checked in on this thread since page 1.

Your choice of upgrades are superb, I absolutely love this car in it's current form. Without doubt one of my favourite cars in RR.

Great photos!!! I was in the same area for a blast the other months smile Only in a lowly 135i, with a few tweaks.

Same lay by as you are all lined up in!

Spot on, I took a number of pics of the Evo II engines any chance I could over the past year and past on to Lee to get some ideas happening, and this is what we come up with in the end based on but suited to this engine cover design and style. Worked out well in the end.
