Saab 9-5 Aero - Hybrid Turbo and 9000 Bottom End - 350 bhp
Discussion
I have one or two dyno options near me just haven't decided which one to go for. The 313bhp figure I quoted above was from a dyno run a previous owner (who did the mods) took it to at Neos where it was set up. I have spoken with another UKS member who was at the same event and he vouches for the car. Sounds an accurate dyno as he got what he expected and there were stock cars there getting very close to factory figures, and I'm talking Ferraris, Porches etc.
I guess at the end of the day whatever a dyno says the car won't be any slower on the way home than on the way there! lol

Spins up very quickly which does kinda put me off going hybrid/bigger turbo in the future. As it is the car only really comes into its own at naughty speeds.
I would've thought the opposite; that a fast-spinning 15t with minimal lag would come into its own at less naughty speeds. That's why I'm pretty happy with the 19t, you can plant it in 2nd with enough hot weather/passengers inside, and it's surprisingly savage. 1st is comparatively gutless because boost is limited, 3rd is pretty mighty, the torque floods in by 3000 rpm then flatlines and gradually tails off towards the redline. The main difference between the 15t and 19t I've noticed is low down torque. I haven't got any like-for-like graphs for comparison but it feels like there's so much more torque low down; you can make absurdly rapid progress with minimal revs. An hybridised 2.8 must be silly.Wanting to spice up the rear end, as it looks a bit bland, but didn't want it to be too flash.
So, to go with the updated rear bumper, I came across a fellow Saab Nut who sold me this rear spoiler for £45, off a Sapphire Cosworth! Should have something of a Lotus Carlton about it once installed. Will get it resprayed along with the rear bumper in July.

Repping the PistonHeads decal, oh and a flat tyre! Have ordered 2 x Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas for the rear.
Wasn't too keen on the 'Performance by Nordic' numberplate surrounds so have subsequently removed them and will re-install the pressed plates on their own, although part of me is tempted to leave the front one off for a while
