Best picture from Croft:

A few from Donington:

The suspension looks to be doing the job, way less roll and much stiffer.

Smart and very tidy mods! Looks great on track and also after a detail. What's the condition of the paintwork?
Thanks!
Paint isn't too bad really but there are loads of stone chips on the bonet.
The rear arches, I wire brushed out and treated the rust. Not perfect but will give me some more life.

I would love to respray the bad bits but have to keep reminding myself it is a track toy!

Thanks, I have been reading this:

http://gticlub.net/forumpics/forsale/pumpkin/pumpk...

Adding a second pump looks to be the most common solution.
Not seen much on swirl pots however...?

Set my wife a challenge to come up with some wheel colour ideas.
I'm going to paint my track wheels next month...

White

Pink

Blue

Or probably what I will go for:

White!

There is acrowd of us at blyton park on the 23rd if you fancy it
you would say white! I like the white but since I have the other set of wheels all refurbished in shiny silver, I was going for something a bit crazy for the track.

As for Blyton, I'm away till the start of April. it is a great fun track!
I have booked the BMWCC day at Cadwell in May and may do the Javelin day at Mallary mid April

Started a bit of wheel restoration...

Used some Nitromors to speed things up

But decided they needed to be blasted

now have a couple of coats of Etch Primer on.
The next step is to do a few coats of normal primer before going green.....

Nice bully....

That how you do it properly. Do you have a sand blaster?

I just attacked mine with a b&q sander and some cheap primer smile

Bedford 15th April
Castlecomb 2 July

Custard
I took them to a blasting company after trying to strip them myself.

I will check those dates but think they clash.

Let us know how you get on with, the blues, was close to getting some but stuck with yellows as they were 2/3 price and lasted 850 track miles.
I got 2000 miles out of my previous blue stuff front pads - most was on the track.
They are way better than the green stuff ones but I have not used yellow before

wheels on!

but.... the tyres are rubbing on the springs.
I already have 15mm spacers on. I'm going to have to see how much more I need.

Shame as the track day tomorrow will have to be done with road tyres on frown

Just done about 125 miles on track at Mallory.
Small circuit but fun all the same.

Gutted I couldn't use my new Federal tyres as it was so warm today. I need to get some spacers ordered.

Used a bit of rubber on the hairpin...

Been under the car today to check how much more spacer I need.
It's only just touching:

Think an extra 5mm (up to 20mm) will do the trick
