You came round to my place in Great Sutton as we were meeting up with someone else to do a bit of parts wheeling and dealing if I remember rightly ?
Keep up the good work on the M3 She's a stunner :-)
Wow that's going back a bit, I vaguely remember that though. I think I was selling my standard wheels at the time.

Nearly there, a few things to do but nothing major. Wheels (centrelocks) are inbound and will be period split rims with black centres on the orange car and gold centres on the white/red car. I've a list of snags I want to look at but nothing major, the only main thing I need changed are both front bumpers as the moulds we've used do not allow the splitter/undertray to sit correctly.

The best thing about building a car like this is it's a future classic... safe money by race car standards (well I hope!!)

And a CSCC "Modern Classic" ;-)
The Jagermeister livery is just awesome.
Indeed Andy smile - I am sure you are aware we have registered these two cars plus another Bastos liveried E30 M3 for the 2013 CSCC Future Classics series. Looking forward to it too. We will be looking a couple of crew to help us on race days - anyone looking to be part of a competitive but fun team should get in touch smile

Looking forward to seeing them race. Hopefully you'll race them in "modern classics" too - eligible for both series!
Probably still run the e36 in that... We will see how it plays out. Biggest difficulty is car logistics

M3's Snetterton

Marlboro M3 - Slightly ill fitting front bumper here, we have better ones being made at the moment.

A quick update.... So we finally finished building some cars, been a labour of love. Two cars are complete (Jagermeister & Marlboro) and one more is nearly complete (livery tba wink ). We were light on testing and development but I was keen to get them out racing - this was clearly a mistake demonstrated when we took the two cars to Snetterton a few weeks ago and retired both due to small niggles.

So, after that we focused on one car for Brands last weekend and managed to get 3rd which was better than we hoped for considering the work still to be done on developing the car and that this is the first time it's run a race distance.

I'm really pleased as I know there is a ton more time in the car yet.

Chassis No.3 had it's first shakedown this week... Not long until we can get all 3 cars out together.

So the Watson car ran well at Anglesey lat weekend - We were really pleased to again capture a P3 finish on a maiden race outing. I am confident we will have all cars on the grid and taking race wins soon.

Hi Tom, long time no speak. I stumbled across this thread, and what a thread !!. You have been a busy boy. Got to say the cars are lovely. I still have mine and may be looking for a little engine rebuild in the future, keeping it as a 2.3 though.
