Having done some chassis alterations to my kitcar build I can fully appreciate the amount of work that's gone into this so far. It's a lot of work, especially if you're doing it properly!
Also not sure about the OP but I have spent many hours staring at various bits going "So how am I going to make this work then?"
Yes, lots of work and fun. Also not sure about the OP but I have spent many hours staring at various bits going "So how am I going to make this work then?"

What you going to do for the exhaust? I think the only option is side exits!!
I will make the exhaust system and they will exit out the back. The mufflers will be located under the raised floor pan section and I will run the pipe work to exit at the top of the rear suspension mounts.andygtt said:
Love the project! Look forward to what body shape you decide to use, do you have any ideas yet?
One comment on chassis, I think you need some triangulation below your seat rails.
There will be an outer rail and upright which will make up the door frame which will provide strength and protection. Also the seat is a FIA approved with a box section frame which is bolts into the seat frame from the side which will also add strength to the seat frame. One comment on chassis, I think you need some triangulation below your seat rails.

Fasicnating to watch this unfold. At first I was expecting something Hot Rod-ish, then the OP mentioned doors and a roof, so I haven't got a clue what the finished result is going to look like now.
Thanks, the aim of the car is a quick sport car, long bonnet short rear deck.dtmpower said:
I feel a bit cheated, you're drip feeding the PH thread when you already have the story on another forum.
I have only been a member for 12 days and I have posted project pictures on 7 occasions. I have no intentions of drip feeding the PH thread but it will take time to get it up to date. The car is only 25% complete so it is not finished so there is no full story anywhere other than in my head. Big Fat Fatty said:
Don't, No Sound is obviously fairly new to PH and could easily have not posted the thread at all. It's better this way than having another Nazi Bunker thread, at least he has the full story to post.
Loving the look of it so far and I must admit I did think it was going rather well a bit too quickly
Cheers I nearly walk away from PH yesterday thinking what the point of posting. The reason for starting the thread was to get feedback from PH guys. Loving the look of it so far and I must admit I did think it was going rather well a bit too quickly

I broke and read the other thread... Sorry!
I'm with a couple of the other guys posting - The link was 'fine'... you didn't have to read it, if you didn't want to.
I think this is such a fantastic project that, like crack, I just needed more!
Such an impressive project and a great credit to you!
Well thats PH feedback and thanks but like I say the car not finished and 30 more posting on PH over the next month and it will be the same as anywhere else.I'm with a couple of the other guys posting - The link was 'fine'... you didn't have to read it, if you didn't want to.
