I think the wheels on it now would look much better if they were one colour rather than diamond cut face, and the car was lowered.
This is the difference mine made when I got the wheels sprayed anthracite instead of the diamond cut.
yes I think your right, off the car the polished face with the black inserts looked smart, once on, it just looked out of place. This is the difference mine made when I got the wheels sprayed anthracite instead of the diamond cut.

If you can, grin and bare it until they either need a refurb or you give in and get them sprayed
My car came with the wheels already on, and I HATED them simply because I hate diamond cut finishes.
However, I knew they were a really nice wheel, so stuck with them.
In the end I couldn't live with them any longer so spent 300 quid and got them refurbed, best move I made!
If you post up a non fish eyed side on/angle photo of the car I can photoshop it lowered a little and them all one colour if you want
Cheers yea I'll take one tomorrow lunchtime and post it on here.My car came with the wheels already on, and I HATED them simply because I hate diamond cut finishes.

Had some work done over last few weeks.
New Bosch battery fitted and coded, brake fluid change and had the CAT cleaned out and the DPF removed, gutted, re-welded and coded out. For MOT purposes still looks OEM.
Car sounds and moves much better without DPF, even brake fluid change has improved the braking loads. Must of had air locks or moisture in the brake system from when i changed the front calipers to the bigger 335D ones.
Overall, very happy. Next up will be the plug and play uprated Wagner Intercooler i think.

Excellent! Did you need bigger carriers or do the discs and callipers just bolt straight on
You need the carriers too. All direct fit mounting points from the original. You dont need bigger brake splash shields either and standard 330d brake hoses work fineI paid £240 I think for a set of red powder coated refurb fronts. Was a complete kit. Came with both front calipers, carriers, and pad retaining brackets.
Brake disc sizes went from the standard 330D 330x24mm to the 335D ones 348x30mm
.
Standard 330D rear setup is the same as the 335D ones.
Got mine from Bigg Red in Worcester

Cheers, I think I might have a look into this when I need discs next
worth doing if your at a point of needing to change your discs and pads. About the cheapest brake upgrade you can do. Better brakes would be like the Brembo 6 pots which run a slightly bigger disc again, but the kits are like £2000+.Think i did mine for about £600 all in and that was for the 335d front calipers, EBC turbo grooved discs back and front, and pagid pads all round. Fronts alone would of been about £400.
Changing just front discs and pads on the front of standard 330D with budget parts would be like £120+. I think its worth the extra £300 for the bigger and better calipers and discs

Still got a emissions error coming up on the idrive and EML on dash......cars driving perfect though.
Seems the error can be linked to the EGR valve, so thought id take it off and clean it anyway.
Bonnet open.............the EGR sits under the engine cover
Cover off.........EGR is located bottom right near the alternator
Removed the jupilee/hose clip, pulled off vac pipe from EGR, released throttle body sensor, removed the 4 allen\hex bolts from EGR, release the boost intake pipe and the EGR comes out.
Pretty sooty in the EGR and the inlet.
I seperated the EGR and throttle body to make it easier to clean inside. Just needed to remove 3 star bolts. Scrapped off what i could with a flat head screwdriver and some contact cleaner. Got the drimmel out and sanded and polished it a little then flushed it out so it was clean of debris.
Refitted and put all back together.
Started engine and light was still on but may need error resetting or a little drive might clear the error. Will post an update if it goes out. Either way cant hurt to give the EGR a clean. Tempted to get a EGR delete kit and code the EGR out all together.

Stunning, really lovely looking car, the seats are beautiful. I assume your mirrors were electric to start with? I always assumed the pre LCI were manual folding (as mine are, 320d M Sport) and the post LCI were electric, I'm not a fan of the latter ones, bit big for me.
How's the ride on the 19s? I do fancy an upgrade (I'm on poverty spec 17s) but might wait and drop it a bit at the same time.
Hi, when i got the car they had the M sport gloss black electric and heated mirrors but not folding. I just picked up a pre-lci folding set on ebay and had them coded to work. How's the ride on the 19s? I do fancy an upgrade (I'm on poverty spec 17s) but might wait and drop it a bit at the same time.
Ride on 19"s seems fine to me. Even with skinny tyres and msport springs. No complaints at all.

Ive got non runflats, 19's and Eibach springs with M Sport dampers and it handles and drives very nicely.
I think I'll have to give my EGR a clean by the look of yours!
Same, non run flats. How do you find the eibach springs ? Thought about them before. Don't mind a small drop.I think I'll have to give my EGR a clean by the look of yours!
Yes give the EGR a clean. A job you can do yourself for free
They are pretty much in good condition just very poorly put in storage......dusty with storage marks. I can get storage marks out the leather with a heat gun on low settings and iron out the creases. last pics show the one seat cleaned with leather cleaner and conditioner so you can see the difference.
