Just got the cheapo ones off ebay dude 120 quid I think toyo sports is the make I think and alpha n is only allow you to remove the air flow meter without error codes , it's a safe mape really, car drives s
t under 3k, and look at the link further up ecu worx it allows you to modify loads of things for £20.
Got a update soon doing the clutch Sunday and been busy with it over the last few weeks

Got a update soon doing the clutch Sunday and been busy with it over the last few weeks
well just to update some stuff , i swung into my driveway early and did this:
![](http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad321/Clarkson22/m3/20160429_173622.jpg)
i decided to do it myself, i got a dent puller and pulled the arch as best as i could get it , which was pretty close , put some filler on and started sanding
dont have any pics but my mate lent me his booth for the day and i sprayed the full side and the drivers side wing which had lots of scratches, now im not the best painter in the world the metallic went down fine then i got a few runs here and there in the final coat but nothing wet sanding didnt sort out, i am saving up in slowly for a future respray and colour change professionally but a newborn and house saps your money!
you can see the runs in the door, rear quarter wet sanded and and half buffed

Well ive kinda neglected the m3 for a while as ive bought a e91 320d shed so been fixing that up, so ive just been driving the m3 and bot caring about her
but the clutch got so bad recently that i had to do it..abd today was the day.
Ive had the clutch , flywheel and alignment tool and new bolts since october sitting in back room since october, it took us 6 and half hours to do it from 8 this morning , the hardest part was aligning the alignment pin for the starter motor when mating the box up , but i have found out that
1.i have a oil leak from the sump plug the copper washer got reused when i dropped the oil last time
2.gearbox mount fully ripped apart i used some serious sealent to put it back toghether but will replace both next week
3.prop shaft guibo has started to rip a little so need to change that.
4.it has a rouge engerneering short shifter and i never knew after 3 and half years!
So everything works again feels so much nice to pull away instead of it revving its knackers off
Anyway pics

You can see the alignment tool the clutch pressure plate has a hex plate that you have to undo once you have bolted the pressure plate on so normal alignment tools dont work, and this pulls outs when you take the hex pate thing off

Well today I was going to tackle bits of rust under the front arch liner , it spiralled out of control.....

![](http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad321/Clarkson22/m3/20170501_133313.jpg)
Not that bad, got the dremel out and then used some hammerite krust rust converter and then painted on top with silver hammerite looks good does the job , Will take the rear bit of arch liner off tomorrow you have to undo the metal tray underneath but I need my axle stands and there at my pals

Now I have a new arch liner to go in cause mine was cracked everywhere and the lower arch bit that the bumper bolts to was near enough missing below illustrates this

After I sanded the last of the filler down I hit it with some primer just to see if I missed anything and 2 little stone chips appeared sorted them and started the underside it was scratched to hell and broke in parts so fibreglassed it where it met a few curbs and finished it with filler , but ran out of sandpaper and it was 7 so I gave up for the day , I can borrow my mates booth Wednesday for 2 hours so I'm going to paint it then and let it sit for a few days , good job I have my e91 on the road now![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
