Currently on eBay for £500 frown

Seems there no market for 5 door GTIs?

You will probably get more for it than that, 5 days isn't a long time for a car to be up for sale for to be honest. My old BMW was up for sale for 3 weeks before anyone even bothered to come and see it.

Also if it did end up going for £500, that's when cars enter the territory of being broken up for parts once the T&T runs out, if they don't go to an enthusiast. Which would defeat the point of you wanting it to be looked after really. I'd just keep hold of it, unless you have a replacement planned.

Golf was sold and collected yesterday evening, went to a private buyer who had good intentions of sorting it out and making it his weekend car. Sad to see it go, but I was using it for a 250 mile round trip commute for work, and at those weekly mileages in rush hour, its just not fair on a car of that age, and I didn't have space for 2 cars so unfortunately the golf had to go. frown
Totally devastated it went for so little.
Hoping my new toy can still cut the mustard when I pick it up later on today smile
