Thats some project!! I've just been perusing the build, your progress is truly impressive, makes my project look like an airfix kit!

I changed my name from andycanam to andygtt when I sold the Ultima.... I really want an original name and was thinking about Procell GTT.

It has lots of meanings in both latin and demonology that seem to fit.

Here is a pic of the car as it is now, I have added the rear spoiler and the rear grill in PSP.
Also I have slapped a very basic fog light pod below the number plate that I will have to work on.

I'm still not 100% sure about the shape of the rear grill yet.

Ahhhh, unfortunatelly not, that name stems back from the days when I had an Ultima Canam.

Or maybe sticking it in the middle of the rear grille with a chrome type ring?

Or even hide it behind the rear grille?

What is the function of the rear lights as it stands? I'd have thought that with 4 lights and LEDs you could have incorporated a fog light somewhere?

The problem with the fog light on a self build is that it must be at least 200mm away from the brake light.

I still have work to do under the plate as the black splodge is actually supposed to be another small grill and it will be a very different shape to blend much better and add to the look rather than ruin it as my feedle attempt has done...

The biggest problem I am facing at the moment is that the Wife doesn't like the slat and I do.. so the big vent still represents a design challenge.

Why didn't I just build a Lambo replica!

Do you know why it has to be 200mm away? Just curious about that.

I don't, It's part of the SVA rules and seems a bit silly to me as it would be ok if the lights are in an Emarked cluster (like most production cars).

Ahh - you see there is the mistake you are making, showing the wife the design before it's been made and too late to alter. A schoolboy error I'm afraid my friend.

I think it's looking great, apart from the pod with the fog which I obviously isn't as you intend it anyway! I don't dislike the position of the fog at all, just need to... visualise it more. I'll stare at the pic for a bit!

How about fog top middle, a ring of LEDS with a small silver surround and GTT badge in the centre?

incorporate the fog pod into an elongated part in the rear diffuser so it's almost 2 diffusers?

How about hidden in the diffuser?
