I had one of the so called motorsport manifolds on my car.

That is a std RS preproduction exhaust manifold, nothing "motorsport" about it at all, the later ones had a proper FINIS number stamped into them. Across all the development fleet and T&D dyno engines i should imagine that something like 50-80 of them were made to support the program. I've still got one in my shed somewhere, perhaps i should get an RS to fit it too..... ;-)

Perhaps you should, or sell it as they fetch very decent amounts on eBay. wink

I know Mountune had a batch of these manifolds, perhaps they were the official ones with codes stamped on them. I just missed out on one unfortunately, then a little while later a guy in Germany started selling them so I managed to get one. Shame they were never fitted as standard in the end...

I would suggest going for Roose hoses as they are excellent quality, and are much better than stuff like Samco. I had the full compliment of hoses on mine and they were top notch. smile
Roose hoses are what i want but noone has them in stock at the mo weeping they are on a back order although plenty of companys are willing to take my money without being able to give me a delivery date!!!!!

Have you contacted Paul Roose direct? He's a very helpful chap and if you tell him you're from the RS Owners Club forum (which I know you now frequent) he may even give you a discount.

Dc5 is a nice car but very harsh ride import only, slower and i really could not put up with seats that wear to the threads in 30k!! If you drive the 2 back to back you will buy the focus even then if your unsure get an insurance quote smile
