Apparently the 170 brake kit is a good setup too, a lot of the ZS owners go that way.

Just before Christmas, god knows how, I've managed to source some Cosworth cams. Will get them fitted in the new year, should see me over the 300bhp mark with a nice lump of torque too!

I'm really going to need a new clutch haha

ST170 and Mondeo Mk3 are the same size, as are Jag X-Type.

The Focus ST ones are a good upgrade for Mondeo Mk3 owners.

Going to spend the next week trying something, have relocated the air filter for the charger to the nearside fog light, which has been removed.

Going to see if this effects air temps at all.

I'd get a bit of mesh over it if I were you, keep the big stuff out.

Thanks for that, I will look into that. The K sports look awesome by the way, love how they fill the wheels

The car is an awesome spec! I would love to but I think once you S/C then its a slippery slope spending alot of monies! Well done though!

The only thing that bugs me is your RS style bonnet lip isnt aligned, I can see red! I folded mine under the bonnet slightly and it sits neatly behind the seal!

Yeah it was a pain to fit in the first place!

I'll leave it for now, i'm in two minds about what to do with the bonnet at the moment.

The hardcore side of me is saying replace it with a carbon item for less weight but your looking at £600+ for a bonnet that might look too OTT compared to the rest of the car. The other half of me is saying just get some RS bonnet vents fitted to help with engine bay temps.

I need the vents no matter what. Just don't fancy spending the money on the carbon bonnet to then cut vents into the thing.

Great car.

How are the brakes doing.

Interested why you chose the ST and not the higher powered 182/197 or Corsa VXR?

I would guess because the 197 and vxr are twice the price so not really comparable, and the 182 although a great car looks like it is for girls and possibly does not come with a wave of companies ready to fit a superchager to it?

And chances are he is a Ford man.

Brakes are brilliant so far, not really had the chance to properly test them because of the weather but so far I'm impressed.

The ST was in my price bracket, the Clio 197 and Corsa VXR we're out of my range at the time and I'm 50/50 on the Clio 182. I admire what they are but the interior does nothing for me, much prefer the interior of the ST compared to the Clio.

I suppose I am a Ford man at heart, had another Fiesta before this (MK4 with a Puma 1.7 engine) so I know my Fords inside and out biggrin

Just had a nosey through the thread, and when I saw the cosworth inlet manifold I thought it'd look good with the plate painted black and the lettering polished up. The whole thing other than the lettering being done in wrinkle paint looks excellent, probably my favourite detail on it, although those K sport brakes are pretty awesome too! thumbup

Cheers for the comments people smile

Cleaned the car today and at the same time, re-painted my fog light surrounds and bonded gloss black air trumpets to them. Not a brilliant photo I'm afraid but gives you an idea

The left hand side cools the charger oil and the right hand side feeds the air filter.

Its getting there!

Nice Fiesta mate, you aren't from the Sutton Coldfield area are you? I swear I've seen this Fiesta parked up just outside the town centre nearly on a daily basis. Could recognise that intercooler anywhere!

Next time someone does one of those "well modified cars" threads, this needs to be posted. I like how everything is very subtle.
Yep, loving this thread.
