Volvo 850 T5 Kompressor
Discussion
OP - I have a T5 albeit the C70 variant and have found the engine to be rather good. Mine is 240 BHP as standard and friends of mine have managed to hit around 270 BHP with a re-map.
Were you not impressed with the standard set-up? Personally, I think the standard turbo set-up works really well indeed.
I like quick Volvo's too, however it is the understated look that has the real appeal as Volvo make great Q cars.
Bonnet vent and black wheels are not my cup of tea but each to their own of course
Best of luck.

...The bonnet vent is purposeful as it supplies air to the top mount intercooler/supercharger!

To be honest with you, no, I like the sort of rush you get with a MBC, but the lack of boost at the top of the reve range is a bit of a bind, I just wanted to try something different, I could have gone the 19t or kkk turbo route, but I wanted to see if it would be possible to get similar power on a budget, the car owes me less than a grand so far.I like quick Volvo's too, however it is the understated look that has the real appeal as Volvo make great Q cars.
