Got the new badge fitted on the front grille today too, made me realise how knackered the old one was!

Won't be offended if you say no...would you like some real carbon fibre door sill scuff plates with the correct Type-R logo/font? They were made by a chap that was on here and other type-r forums 'composite guru'...he was working for Red Bull in Milton Keynes at the time.

I had them on mine many moons ago and found them last week when clearing out the garage.

Thought to myself you might like them? So, first refusal, no charge...

I've seen a 55 plate original with 70k on the clock, with the end of run recaros in for £7k...soooooo tempted...think I still have a Toda mani and spoon B pipe/N1 back box lying around somewhere.

Funny that at £7k that seems like a bargain, I sold one the same around 4 years ago for £4500 or so and it seemed like top money

Got my seat fitted today, feels amazing. Transforms the drive of the car completely.

I had to take some photos for the insurer today so thought I’d stick them up here. Hoping to get it in for a detail and ceramic wax this weekend!







Also ordered some powerflex black series mount inserts.



And this bhin’ Spoon Sports mask so I can look cool AF when driving around.

No real news, except for the insurance company updated me today and have agreed a £10k agreed value policy for the car. Amazing!

How time flies, just a few days ago it’s been 7 years since I picked up the car! I dug out some of the pictures from when I first got it, completely bog standard and only a little bit pink! How things have changed!

I noticed that the crappy aftermarket headlights had started delaminating, I bought them a while ago as ‘genuine’ but they’re not. They’ve been looking a bit rough.



Crappy TYC crap.



Managed to find a an actual genuine set for a steal on eBay…. Had them polished to get them looking nice and on they go….




Much better! Just need to fiddle with the panel/bumper gaps a little bit!


Also have a new set of discs/pads all round and some new rear callipers (all painted up!), just editing on the rear discs and will get it all banged on!

The new head lights have a made a good difference to that.

With all that bhp, having good stoppers helps.
