yeah everything is declared and the engine is a S3 engine, the engine code is AMK and it is around 200hp standard
It's not an s3 engine. The inelt is on the wrong side. I'd wager it is not an s4 turbo either, because they won't fit with the manifold you have, plus the s4 biturbo, (b5) also ran k03 variant turbos, so no bigger than the stock a3 1.8t version. If it is a fwd k03 s, as fitted stock, the max possible from the turbo at full flow is about 255 hp, compressor map does not allow more. .
If it was running 315 hp, you'd not need the replica Ferrari for your thrills. You'll be lucky to be getting 250 hp out of it I am afraid.

You'd have been far better off using an s3 as a base, they are significantly different than the 1.8 t version, wider wings, wider track, obviously the Haldex system, but brakes, suspension, bracing etc are all beefier on the s3 and a better base.

On the Ferrari replica, well it is impossible to see if it is a decent replica, but it is a replica. With the sort of cash you spent on it you could have had a very nice 996 porsch maybe even squeeze a C4S, and if. Ferrari fan, you'd not be far off 348 territory there. So it best be a good one for that sort of wedge!

It's not an S3. It's a 1.8T.

I'm sure the chav lasses around Gipton will go mad for your 't'ferrari'

Everyone else will laugh at how sad you are.

Sell both (find another mug who'll buy them) and buy something decent.
Harsh but true.

Just what you spend in a year on insurance could buy something better than those two.

Sorry, I don't like either. The fake S3 would have been a respectable car had you not done all of those worthless mods to it, and that fake f430 is a complete waste of money. I can't help but feel that you have wasted a LOT of money, and will struggle to sell either of those cars.

Unfortunately you seem to have joined a car enthusiasts forum.

BUT! Luckily for you, there is a website devoted to people that have lambo doors on their hatchbacks and fake ferraris. They thought www.ownersoflambodoorsonhatchbacksandferrarireplic... was too hard to remember and shortened the url to www.barryboys.co.uk, they will love you there.

Jesus christ, these cars are fking st.

Lambo doors, seriously? You must have been dropped on the head as a child to think that an Audi should have scissor doors.

I'd have the replica.. I mean, it's basically the same thing. Just cheaper.

Like i said every one to there own im happy with them, s3 is quick enough for me and i wont sell them as i dont have any reason to.

1.8 20vT (S3)
1,781 cc (109 cu in) I4 turbo
APY, AMK
210 PS (154 kW; 207 hp) @5800
270 N·m (199 lb·ft) @2100
6.8 s
238 km/h (148 mph)
1999–2001

Yeah i could buy a brand new Merc, Bmw, Range Rover, but that takes the fun out of the car and getting it built.

And i probably will spend a lot more money on the replica as its my project and im going to get the 1mz-fe V6 or the V8 conversion and i am doing all the interior, but why not? 1 10th the price of the real and with the engine conversion u can get i believe around 400bhp, supercharge it and your pretty much at the same hp as a ferrari but for £20000 instead of £13000.00 to £17000.00, cheaper insurance, better mpg, no high service costs.

You've quoted the figures from an S3 there - you don't have an S3 you have an A3 that you are passing off as an S3, it's not the same thing.

EDIT: You thinking dropping a V8 into an MR2 kit car will make it even 1/10th of what a real Ferrari is like to drive? You must be delusional!

Complete and utter chav crap imo. Yeah sure you could do all that to the 'Ferrari' but it'll always be a st looking replica.
