Nice Fiesta mate, you aren't from the Sutton Coldfield area are you? I swear I've seen this Fiesta parked up just outside the town centre nearly on a daily basis. Could recognise that intercooler anywhere!
Yep, thats me!

Nothing major but received some new bolts through the post yesterday

Also fitted my second hand dip stick to cure the oil leak, seems to have done the trick. Wheel bearing was replaced at PumaBuild and I'm looking into clutches and getting the cams fitted along with a live remap some point in the near future.

Thought so! Mind if I say hi some time if I see you? smile

Bolts look good, by the way, I love it when people pay attention to the little details

Merp, you'll enjoy that a lot. The Miltek sounds fantastic, used to pop burble like mad before I had the charger fitted smile

The question is, do I try and split them and spray the insides and risk not sealing them up properly again or shall I just leave them the standard, grey colour on the inside?

I've ordered a M5 and M6 thread repair kit off eBay as some of the threads on my cosworth inlet were stripped by the previous owner. Two of the cover plate holes need doing and one of the throttle body holes needs looking at too.

Nope not me?

Car has had a change of direction though and the charger, along with exhaust and inlet are being removed.

Reason being I need to be sensible... lol

Such a shame! This is what puts me off charging. Nobody ever keeps their car charged for more than 5 minutes! Is it really that costly?

Have you already sold the parts btw....?

Where was the cost coming from, huge petrol bills on a car that already guzzles fuel like it's going out of fashion, or was it making the car unreliable?

Did use a fair bit of petrol but with a baby on the way, that kind of sealed it's fate.

Was too noisy and with us putting the other halfs car off the road, she can't get insured on the Fiesta running that power frown

Was totally reliable, only thing was with the gearbox being fairly weak on the ST, I was always worried about it exploding which kind of ruined some of the fun.

While the car is in the garage getting the stuff removed, i've had the pleasure of the GF's 1.3 KA for the past few days and what a brilliant little car! More fun than mine was!

Just read through the thread and I have to say I had no idea that the little Fiesta could be tuned so much! I'm also loving the new wheels. smile

For some reason I've always preferred the Fiesta ST to the Focus ST, but just wish that Ford had brought back the XR badge to go with it!

Fantastic thread, always had a soft spot for the Fiesta ST despite not being a big Ford fanatic, they look great modified, especially to this standard. Excellent stuff.
