It's only taken me a week to get photos sorted, but I can finally share my new pride and joy after being inspired by the evo article on 'free motoring' to finally sod practicality buy a sports car!

Ok, so it's not expesnsive or rare like many of the cars that appear here, but it's already brought many happy miles of top down motoring and changed my commute to an invigorating blast! Hopefully it'll bring hope to PHers on a strict budget smile

Now planning a Europan road trip for the summer driving.

Anyhews, a few pics:

In evil news, I'm already looking forward to parking in the middle of a group of MX5s at the next SS! hehe

Tempting! Was also thinking of packing up a couple of toothbrushes and cruising down to Italy with The Whiff to take in some great drving roads for a week to ten days driving

Looks nice. What's not to like - coupe, hood down, decent handling

Lovely, but what is going on with the hood when lowered. It really shouldn't be sticking up like that.

p.s. I bought one on Friday and loving it.

I've been thinking the same thing...please could you post a photo of yours hood down from a couple of angles? And maybe hood up around the window seals? Would be much appreciated...

I don't have any photos to hand but it would be an idea for you to join mr2roc.org as they have a lot of information regarding mk3's.

http://www.mr2roc.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=47&am...

That^ link shows the soft top 'ears' problem and how to fix it, also shows a before and after view.
