The welds aren't as tidy as I'd like, but when youre welding 1.2mm steel together with a MIG, it tends to blow through on occasion, you have to pulse the weld to get it to fuse right.

Unless you can do better, why comment? rolleyespunch

Got good penetration cause that above fact.

Anycase, front brakes took a lot more to sort including making a new hard line from the ABS to the front right smashfrown

Tomorrow is just new pads and discs on the back and adjust the damned handbrake smash

325i...

Go read the thread next time.

And if you don't have anything constructive to say, don't bother.

Good eye that man, it is one my friend rescued. There's also a couple of Mk1 Cavaliers and a half dozen Opel Mantas as well.

Wow, been a while since i updated this.

This weekend was spent giving the car it's cam belt and water pump service.

Traced an oil leak to a perished sump gasket, which I'm going to have to sort out frown
Also replaced the fuel filter and a perished fuel hose.

There will be another update with the car.. brand new parts that'll change the look of the car and should resolve a few issues are coming soon. smile

If i had a garage and a welder to hand maybe :haha:

Thanks though for the comment, I was unsure if the wheels would work, but they do so well with the colour. smile

Well, another year and another MOT test rolled up.
After having to spend a bit of time adjusting the handbrake, passed pretty much as is, though the exhaust is probably not long for this world.. .good excuse to look into this biggrin

Also, managed to break one of my keys, so having gone to the dealers and queried, turns out they still have the codes for the keys, so had 2 new ones made up.. amazingly they worked, the car has still got all it's original locks smile
