As mentioned above, there had been some right bodging on the rear brakes/handbrake on this jalope. Piston upside down, handbrake wedge loose, and the wrong size of pads just jammed in. All sorted now, and I am shortly booking the heap in for rust blasting and paintwork.

The fuel pump is knackered. The car needs to go on a ramp, as the aftermarket pump is awkwardly placed next to the rear suspension. I need to arrange a tow from my place to a nearby garage.

If I had any sense I would sell you my VX, but I haven't any sense.

Meanwhile....Yay Internet! Correct wheel bolts found in South Africa of all places.

The little Coupe is in for welding and painting. Not surprisingly, it needs a fair bit of welding, but hopefully will have a new lease of life soon.

They are very helpful and sent me a steel water pipe as well as wheel nuts for the Coupe.

Too rusty for my budget. Sold to a dude as his project.
