i really wanted an abarth 500 but couldnt afford one, im looking at getting a clio trophy or a 986 2.7 boxster. smile

Trophy, have a hatred passion for the 986's, really have not aged well IMO.

I'm leaning towards the trophy myself as it will be cheaper to run and will have more space for uni.

I think the Trophy is one of those cars that if i bought one and it was as good as the motoring press say i probably could not sell it.

I'm hoping it's as good as everyone says, evo rated joint with an F50 so I have high hopes. hehe

Got to be careful with those early Boxsters, heard they have problems with cylinder liners or something, apparently notorious for them...


How have you still got your wheeltrims on? Obviuously not trying hard enough wink. Melvster and I made much better choices as first cars... tongue out

rofl although she now owes me a few £ as the drive shaft oil seals have failed and she is having a piss as we speak hehe

redface Mine was faultless when I owned it, although my sister has been driving it the past 6 weeks and has had 2 punctures! eek She can't be trying hard enough...

just thought id give a quick update just for the hell of it, the cars been going absolutely faultless (touch wood) and has been a great first car. hopefully very soon i shall be getting a renaultsport clio of some sort which will be a nice upgrade, here is a picture i found on my phone. smile

I had one of these, although the VTS (consider yourself top trumped, sir!). Fantastic little car, even if the build quality was sketchy. Is your bonnet underside primer only? Mine was! Magnificent.
