V10 RS 6 - 757 BHP/967NM
Discussion
Some of you may remember i posted a thread about my old RS 6 V8 a few months back,
Well, that's gone and has now been replaced by this animal.

I wasn't planning on buying the V10 RS 6, but this one has a spec like no other, so after sleeping on it a few nights and still thinking dirty thoughts about it, I had sent a deposit and was on the train down to Hull before Mr. Sensible kicked in.
Overall, I am glad I bought it.
I realised this whilst sat on the motorway recently with the adaptive radar cruise on ''making progress'', I turned the volume down on the stereo and was amazed at how incredibly quiet it was in the cabin (the optional double glazing must help here) and then I remembered that this is the same car that only days previously had caused my mate to text me saying 'OMFG, was that you that just drove past, your car literally shook the house - much louder than the plus', and the same car that has beaten a £350,000 Porsche Carrera GT Supercar at VMax, yet taken my mum, dad, my baby nephew, sister and I on a six hour round trip journey in absolute comfort.
The interior has a real 'Made of granite' feel about it, I set the sat nav by talking to it, the brakes are incredible, the steering is so unlike any Audi I've driven (and that's a good thing), the adaptive suspension allows it to go around corners pretty much flat yet still rides over bumps the way I would expect an A8 to.
I've done 2,000 miles in it (some going when I have a company car for commuting) and I've only just had it a month, I've been planning unnecessary trips for next month which should put another 1,000 or so on, I am just addicted to it. It is the best car I've ever owned.
Power has been upped from the 580BHP from factory by MRC to 757 BHP/967NM, no mad tuning, either - just a custom engine and gearbox remap, Milltek exhaust and uprated air filters.
The original owner managed to add on £16,000's worth of extras on top of the already generous spec and paid £93k, I paid less than half that at three years old!
Here are the additonal extras

They're 420mm, it needs 20'' wheels minimum to accommodate them. They've saved me a few times though, not looking forward to replacing them though. They are £4.5k each not including the VAT.
Is your car on 20" wheels? Can't really tell as the tyre thickness looks about 50...4340BB said:
Get the cats off it! Then it will sound like nothing else.
Awesome car. Love it.
Pre cats have been taken off, and it still passed it's first MOT. It was at Audi too, so no 'friendly' MOT man. The main cats are still in place. MRC had a customer send an RS6 V10 from Taiwan, they sent it back with 860BHP, a bit too much for me however.Awesome car. Love it.
