I brought this last Saturday, it's a 2002 4.6iS in Estoril Blue with only 74,000 on the clock, she is a bit juicy (19 mpg) but only to be expected, but the sound of that V8 through those exhausts is fantastic and considering the weight of it, it shifts, 0-60 6.3 secs, 347 bhp, an absolute bargain for £6500, more pictures to follow when I stop driving it for 2 seconds and take some
;)

I like it a lot.
Did not notice till i followed one how wide the rear tyres are on these.
Fortunately the last owner had just put 4 new tyres on it as the rears are 315/35/20 at a cost of about £350 each

Best colour, I like
I must admit I was looking for an Imola Red one but they're rarer than rocking horse dung, but Estoril Blue was my second choice and it does look good

I sure hope that a comment like this, that it doesn't have a standard BMW exhaust on it. If so rofl
Yep, all standard including the exhausts, I take it you've never listened to one

Nice car.

I've been thinking about these as a cheaper way into a B10 V8 touring. Seems a high percentage of those for sale have been LPG'd.
LPG would be good, and I would've considered one if this hadn't come along

I knew someone with an identical one. 2 gearboxes later he got rid.

Nice and commanding on the road but i cant personally see the appeal over an m-car. Unless i guess you prefer the image of having a huge car or actually make use of the awd over having a car that handles well.

Good luck with those tyres though, new set a year will be around 1200.

Anyway if you are lucky and it does not become the moneypit they can be its a great mile muncher and very imposing if thats your bag.
I know they can have gearbox issues, but I'm lucky enough to work for BMW UK based in Berkshire in the workshop so most things will be a lot cheaper
