Ok I know I'll be driving it for him, but basically the wife bought me a Rottweiler puppy and there is no way he is getting on the Audi's red leather seats. It's a 98 landrover discovery 50th anniversary special edition with all the toys and cream leather seats, average mileage and 5 new tyres with a years mot.

I had the same idea when we got our pup, 4/5 months in when he got to 40kg (Rottie/ Mastiff cross) my lovely Defender became defunct! Try lifting a squirming wriggling 40kg lump out of the back in a tight car park!

Good Luck wink
He's 1 year old and 9 stone, I can just about lift him in to the backbiggrin

I would hope that a 1 year old Rottie would be able to jump in himself!

My 5 year old, 8 stone Dobe is like a spring in the box if he knows he's going somewhere!
Rottys don't like stairs, luckily we live in a bungalow. He is a bit of a womans dog as well so if I want him to jump in the back i will have to get the wife to sit in one of the rear seats.

How is dog room in these? I'm thinking of doing the same. We've just got a second mastiff pup so my vRS octavia (hatch) is running out of room.
Plenty of room there are two sideways facing seats in the rear but they fold up leaving lots of space

Can I ask how much they're fetching nowadays? for a nice one like that
The garage wanted 1995 for this and he didn't want to budge on price because he's been selling 5 a day in this weather, managed to get him down to 1800 as I had it in twenty pound notes. The place is called TandT motors batley he has 15 Discos ranging from 1k to 5k

The guy was going to paint the cream leather with tan leather paint as the 14 year old leather is showing its age, but because I knocked the price down I will have to clean the seats myself. Has anyone heard of this leather paint and know where I can get it, cheers.

Is the carpet a precaution or where you hust having a look arond underneath to see if all is well?
It should be a standard factory supplied part, to catch the drips!
Exactly, apparently all discos have oil leaks, I wish I knew this before I parked it on the new part of the drivebiggrin
