Just a thought: when you say "wheel alignment" did you mean "suspension geometry"? If not, that's what you really need.

Suspendions all standard and yes it's wheel alignment with geo castor/camber that has unveiled the issues

Exactly as ade mentioned. You need the revised (7.2 GT3) rear ARB.
Search for the parr fast road geo thread.
It's all in there on page 4 and 5

Also just read this v interesting.
It's the rear sway bar from the 997 gt2 that the 997.2 gt3 got just to be clear?

Yup, go full soft FARB, and swap the RARB... then learn to drive it on the closed diff... 'kart style'..

The bars on the 997.1 GT3 come factory set at minimum under steer already. Without changing the rear bar to a thicker one there's no more range available to you to improve things with regards to understeer. You can however adjust them the opposite way and make it worse smile

Yeah, the 997 GT2 and the 7.2 GT3 bar is exactly the same.
The part superseded on both cars to a new number when the 7.2 was released

The 7.1 parts list now lists this same number rear bar as the 7.2GT3 and GT2 to be used any time a replacement is needed for that car too.

God - I get almost no understeer at all - but I note that my car sits lower and with a slighly more prenounced "down angle" (from rear to front), than most other GT3's.

Front ARB = full soft
Rear ARB = full hard

-2.5 Degrees neg on the front

Cup Tyres too!

So forgetting the cup tyres what's this cost you to have done with the setup?
I just spoke with a specialist that said no need to change arbs they do full geo set up on standard parts ( changing a few minor things) £650 plus vat that will take out all understeer and good for fast road/track use.

Nothing! The previous owner did this and I just had the OPC that I bought it from do a cursory check and print off the settings ~(so if it ever moved I could take it back)!
