Some of you may have noticed I've been keeping a low profile....
Well, sadly, my pristine and much loved GT2 has had a smash! Important point to note here is that I wasn't to blame; a labotomised lorry driver took me clean out, almost head on, at 55-60mph! I swerved, up a curb, through a wall and came to rest in the hedge. Not a pretty sight and neither was my face just before he got both barrels!
If anyone is interested in this car as a rebuild (track?) project, I can tell you, it was as clean as a whistle up until the crash. It has superficial panel damage and was only w/off due to high hire car charges. Official repair estimate including new PCCB's was £35k. Anyone wanting pics or further info, e:mail me.
RIP DEAR GOBBIE....I LOVED YOU VERY MUCH

Sorry to hear about the accident but the only thing that's important really is that you are OK. Brick walls, hedges and GT2's can be replaced. Hope the insurance gets sorted without to much aggro. I'm insured with NU but use Accident Exchange if some idiot reverses into my stationary car (as happened recently). Accident Exchange dealt with everything and provide a car as close as possible to the one that's out of action.Well, sadly, my pristine and much loved GT2 has had a smash! So what are you planning as a replacement? Another GT2? The new one looks absolutely stunning. Since you're unhurt, maybe there's a bright side...
I expect she'll get a 968 - apparently they blow the doors off anything with a rear mounted engine....Thanks for all votes of sympathy folks ~ most lovely of you!
Next car is another GT2, obviously! A Jessica Wabbit isn't complete without her signature motor car!
I've bought the MK II car that's in at Clive Sutton. A rather sexy and adorable chap who posts on here (you know who you are hun!), found her for me. She's an 'as new' virgin, 3,000miles, one owner, etc, etc, etc. She was a tad on the pricey side (£85k!! *ouch*) so I used the low-cut top and short skirt discount technique! May post pics shortly when I collect her.
I've also got an order down on a 997 GT2 through a European dealer. Chances are the latter will be for sale in due course.
Hopefully my dear beloved Gobbie (gone but not forgotten!), will rise from the ashes and be seen soon on a track near you!

So would those be pics of the car or the disccount technique? And why didn't you get a 968? They're really much faster than GT2s. Or was that GT3s? I forget... probably both.
