I'd say there won't be a next time on a 180k mile GT3!
Oh I am sure that there will. I reckon that all of the ones that don't get crashed will easily make it to that in the end Anyway - legendary motoring Roger, were it not for the crime of not at any point letting the poor thing do her stuff on a track...
Hi Rogere, its Roger here, who'd of thought eh! the very happy new owner of your beautiful 180,000 mile GT3,its my first ever porsche and the guys and girl at 911virgin looked after me with due care, special thanks to Tom.
I plan on using the car for track days, and occasional sunny sunday mornings,we are already going to the Ring and Spa at the end of this month..
The car was serviced before i picked it up and i had the pads changed even though there was a little bit left on them, and they were cheaper than the pads i recently changed on my last car,a focus RS mk2..
Im absolutely made up with the car,and i sit in the camp of firmly believing that i have bagged myself a bargain, and any future expense is justified by the low price paid.Judging by the condition of the car inside and out and with fingers crossed im hoping not to have to spend too much in the way of bills in the near future..
My budget could of gone higher but i bought on condition and felt that more expensive cars could have problems in the future as well, its a risk but one worth taking..
The plan is,well there is no plan really but 200,000 miles seems like a decent goal, and alot of fun and smiles on the way.
Thanks again to Roger for the extra info on my GT3,and rest assured i will treasure it and look after her as her previous owner has always done..

Hi again to GT2, I recall the trip that we took that lunch time! Delighted that you are still around. And yes, the previous car was indeed the Phoenix M Coupe ( sold with a mere 160K on the clock)
So, I've just become the happy owner of a basalt black 997 GT3 with PCCB and clubsport spec. It looks stunning and is just about a fair replacement for the 996.
Well done Roger. That trip convinced me to buy my first 911 and Im 5 or 6 cars down the line now.So, I've just become the happy owner of a basalt black 997 GT3 with PCCB and clubsport spec. It looks stunning and is just about a fair replacement for the 996.
I hope you enjoy the 997 GT3 just as much.
Regards
Lee
