Im sorry Ive got to strongly disagree with the comment that an M3 is like a souped-up go-kart. I was very disappointed with the M3 handling and stability and brakes ('02)

What I do think however is that it is VERY good value for money at 20-25K, and typically the cars are 'fully loaded' if thats what you like, and it definately feels like a 340bhp car in the 0-70mph bracket, anything above it feels pretty slow tbh.

Not sure of the value of this comment. If you are trying to compare it to cars with 500HP then it feels slower over 70mph, but then it would. If you are comparing it to other 300hp to 400hp cars it feels comparable, and far from 'slow'. Compared to an F1 car an Enzo and Zonda feel slow over 70MPH but compared to Boxter 2.7, the basis of the original thread, it will feel quick.

No one is suggesting the M3 is super quick, just that its far from slow when a sensible comparison is made....
