Hmmm I though, the offending items must really be ugly. Let have a look at the last picture....

Huh? is that it!? Those 2 body coloured side bits. Thats what the big fuss is about?

They neither add nor detract from the car IMHO. If the car was right, then it would not stop me as a buyer, infact it wouldnt even enter into the thought process.

Have to agree that they are standard fit, I have a 996 c2 with full gt3 factory fit aero kit and these side diffusers were included as part of that.

I that they look fine, but then again thats just my opinion

Come on guys, get a life. What are you suggesting now, tham I`m inventing people to say nice things about me?

Please - I`m a little more grown up than that. Luke1963 would appear to be a real person, with a real name from Newcastle as opposed to someone called "uber-loightening von genchler" from christ knows where (the name given on "Nervous`" profile).

It means a lot to me that people, some customers, others just on-lookers, jump in to defend me from time to time and I really don`t feel the need to invent imaginary friends.

Someone doesn`t like the lower extensions on a £20,995 Porsche 996. Who gives a shit? Do I need to invent someone to repeat that they were a factory option - I think I`d save the imaginary buddies for a more serious outing!

Incidentally Gary I`ll be up in Lincoln again in the near future, (buying up another bit of the city), we must hook up for some lunch.

Sometimes I think I'm a figment of my own imagination so being made up by someone else would be an improvement.... I think. scratchchin

PS - You should still be pubclicly flogged for trying to sell a car with those 'orrible things stuck to its otherwise beautiful backside

thats genuinely the part that i like most about you henry: you take every opportunity to 'pop your head above the parapet', and thusly broadly and repeatedly publicise your business and ethos, and yet somehow folks defend you for it as if your some kind of saint fighting a good fight. others who do much the same thing get fairly short shrift, you must have noticed.

even the language used is suggestive of your heroic status to these good, innocent, big-hearted people: 'putting your head above the parapet' is something only the most willing and brave soldier would do, nes pas?

truly, i do think thats an ace piece of work. hell, ill admit it, I'm looking at all your posts now to see if theres subliminal cues in there to instill gushing love toward your business, but no-one elses. either way, well done you. No one else here seems to have realised that you have a massive vested interest in repeated parapet popping.

Good lord, if only there were an educational support forum here id be the most parapet popped person in Christendom.

as for my login details, i rather like it that way. i call it 'humour'. of course like tastes, opinions and sincerity, peoples standards differ. I cant tell you how happy that makes me.

What the hell am I supposed to do, someone comes on and has a pop at me suggesting I`m inventing people, I defend, you shoot me down.

I can`t help it if my job is also my passion. Yes I do think my posts add something to the forum, sometimes it`s information, sometimes it`s a view from the other side of the fence but at least they have the benefit of experience. No I`m not Yoda, I can`t lift heavy objects with thought alone but I like to think any answers posted or ideas given have helped the person in need of a bit of inspiration or a quick solution. People aren`t stupid on here, or do you think they are? If I were only on here to further my business they would have seen through me years ago.

From your post I assume you work in Educational Support. Do you post as regularly on educational support forums as you do on here? I suspect not, largely because cars are your true passion, educatinal support your job. I`m posting on here late at night as I look for airline flights because I`m passionate about my job, cars, racing and everything else that needs fuel to live.

A £21k 996 and he moans about £500 worth of GT3 diffusers !

I actually don`t mind them, Tom`s last 996 with a full GT3 kit had them and I think they set the car off. Each to their own!
