Good video, Its clear Boss is a very good driver which acounts for more than car performance IMO, i think also that there is a higher % of TVR drivers have larger gonads which you need on track
They need to go hell for leather so they can get as many laps in as possible before it breaks down

My thoughts exactly!
Your dad has a TVR, so you are back on the Porsche forum to tell us how slow we all are
Nicely assumed... im actually a big fan of Porsches and as soon as I can afford a mk1 GT3 with a few trick manthey tweaks I'll own one, well, that is if I can avoid the lure of a 996GT2. Yes, I'll back a TVR over a Porsche in GT racing or the like, but that doesnt mean im one of those dillusional TVR owners that believes the 911 to be a 40 year old has been, which couldnt possibly out pace a 4.0 chimeara. Equally though, I get tired of Porsche owners who cant accept that just occaisionally a small british car maker creates something truly fantastic. Neither marque should be underestimated in my opinion, and both should be respected where its due.
Dont paint us all with the same brush.
My thanks to Dazren/Rods/MOD500/Der/Others whos names escape me for demonstrating thier cars at various Vmaxes, you've cost me a helluvalot in future. and I wont even mention Mr T himself. I pity the fool who jumps in either RUF and believes they wont desperately want one in thier life afterwards!!
Also for what its worth, im going to get the Cerb on track sometime soon for the first time, I'll keep you updated so you can all get vids of you annihalating me... I put my hands up that cant do the car justice behind the wheel, but I will enjoy myself!! I've only driven it in anger once, and that was at Harewood in the rain, so im guessing it's going to be pretty scary.

sorry, I meant it a bit tongue in cheek...
Its not my first trackday, just my first in the TVR.
Yes, before you pick at my profile, I have done trackdays in the Smart but hey, its rear wheel drive, turbocharged, f'kin snappy and rear engined!! We're all friends here eh!?!!

Great post!
That is some impressive driving and more importantly nicely caught on camera with a good sound track.
The other video which is named Porsche Hunting (or similar) is equally impressive.....in that how the 911 Turbo has phenominal straight line acceleration but simply will not let the TVR pass!....until he makes a mistake!
Really superb stuff.

Boss - how did you get the camera angle? looks great, I'm assuming you used a bullet cam? did you cover the lens with somekind of protection?
Phil has an awesome set up, three bullet cams running in parallel to three Sony mini cams, does the job!
Thx BD, you'd need to control all 3 cams at once for it to be useable though, any pointers on where to look for such a kit?
