The £180K 991 GT3 has arrived as predicted...

He
Still a huge disparity with LHD cars and feels a tad expensive when compared to 991RS list. Academic I know but price trend is not upwards .

If you don't mind 18k miles - massive spec 1-owner clubsport @ OPC Cambridge. PCCB's, Lift, LED's, PCM etc etc ... £142k.
All GT3's are mileage sensitive so really this pricing puts fair value for a low mileage one RHD one at £150k to £160k.Still a huge disparity with LHD cars and feels a tad expensive when compared to 991RS list. Academic I know but price trend is not upwards .
Its interesting ... a few weeks ago my friend couldn't find a build slot for a RHD 991 GT3RS for anything less than 50 overs. Now he has got multiple offers! The market has surprised me and turned pretty quickly, and I think the cold the 991 GT3 market has caught is starting to spread to other Porsche models.
30+ GT3s on PHs alone, plus more on Autotrader, plus more on OPC, all at very low miles is an insane proportion of the apparently 132 built, even if the number produced is possibly higher at 288.
Dealers are getting very nervous. If you phone around you will find that some **BIG** discounts can be had. Trade bids are no more than £140k today, but that number seems to be moving lower ever week, with some dealers not wanting to bid at all! Initially, a lot of cars came to market as owners got allocations for GT4s and RS, but as prices peaked and then started to dip, other 991 owners started to look to take profits. Remember that the list price on the 991 GT3 was £100k, with average number of options the price was near £115k, fully loaded maximum at £125k. I am certain there will be a few owners out there who having driven a few thousand miles will be happy to get out at even list ...free motoring is still not a bad deal.

If there is a Labour/SNP government tomorrow watch those dealers catch a big cold! Mansion tax, non doms etc!!

- very strong rumours of impending 991.2 announcement, plus potential of manual option also adding to the fire.
- increased competition from new AMG Mercedes GT and new £130k Macca.

What are you saying, the arse is about to fall out of the 991 GT3 market? Wishful thinking I reckon, if they do come back down to list I'll be having a look but I'm not expecting that to happen anytime soon.- very strong rumours of impending 991.2 announcement, plus potential of manual option also adding to the fire.

Saw a black one driving through Cannock yesterday, anyone on here? Looked amazing.
A softer - more sensible - market is good for everyone who enjoys driving these cars (and I include original 991 GT3 owners who are still sitting on a very healthy profit).
I have been beating myself up over letting the engine debacle put me off proceeding with my order and have been considering a LHD one recently but now feel a bit more confident that I might finally get into a RHD with my budget.
That should jinx my chances - 200K next stop no doubt

If the 991.2 GT3 is announced, which will be probably only a little dearer, why would you want to buy a 991.1 at overs anyway ?? This market is like catching a falling knife. Inevitably bubbles burst, and they tend to overshoot before stabilizing. Buyer beware!

Thirtysomething...... I guess you haven't got a 991GT3?
That's pretty obvious ! Considering what I have written.Look I think they are awesome cars but PDK is not for me.
Owners here probably won't like to read what I have written, and non-owners will be happy to read what I have written. Everything is my own opinion and based upon my own knowledge speaking to other owners and some dealers.

I should be going to Porsche Solihull tomorrow, I'll ask about their black GT3, it's on at £164,850, it sounds like a bid of £110k might get me the car if this internet rumour is true. I'll report back with what they say.
I didn't say £110k this week. Easy £5k off though without trying too hard.

Yes that was me.....
As for prices, no doubt a few have RSs on the way that also have a GT3, would expect a few more to come to the market soon...
I See a lot has been said about a 991GT3 Gen 2, from what I know it will not happen, the RS runs until next spring, don't see any room for a car between the one now and the RS.......
