Thanks Mat. Haven't purchased it yet - nearly did a deal, but then the seller got cold feet over the part ex. I may just not look at the classifieds, drive my M3 until summer and then look again when the market is moving again.
Love my M3, but have a 911 itch to scratch whilst the kiddies are still small. Once they grow up I can go back to the M3.
I deffo have that 911 itch! And a 4 and 7 year old to boot, I think they will just about fit in.Love my M3, but have a 911 itch to scratch whilst the kiddies are still small. Once they grow up I can go back to the M3.
Not sure about my surfboards though.....

I have 18inch carrera classics on my boxster but i've never thought they look right on a 911 with an aerokit, no aerokit they look fine. That looks like a tarted up old car, i would avoid personally.
Thats the beauty of cars - all personal choice.Mat Hammond said:

Don't shoot the messenger but the trade value of the M3 is definitely no more than £15,000 - still a lot more than the £10k you got offered though
I could sell you a 2000 'X' 29,000 mile Carrera 2 manual with full GT3 kit (and correct GT3 wheels), with Sports chassis too (being 30mm lower really suits the GT3 kit), in superb condition (recently had usual creaking wishbones replaced etc etc) for £30k inc a full a year's OPC warranty. Looks great in zanzibar with black too. If you only buy black cars it won't be for you, but gives an idea of what can be had and for how much .

Is that your car Chris? - looks awesome
No but could be, mine is identical in appearance though is a C2. Seriously, if you're tempted I could be seperated from it as I quite fancy a targa... How much you looking for it ?
Do you fancy a M3 meantime ?

Thats mate - I'm defo after black so will give that a miss - also for £30k I'd start looking at 02 plates to be honest at which point the GT3 kit becomes less of an issue with the facelift. I'm looking to spend M3 + £5-6k max.
PH_76,
How come your advert doesn't mention the dangerous nature of your M3, which goes sideways on the motorway with no provocation ?

Now Petrolhead 5 - 0 bcnrml
Its fixed so whats the problem - it was the classic M3 problem of RTABs - I would NEVER sell a car that wasn't perfect when it left me - don't need the hassle and couldn't live with it TBH.
If I did want to sell it in that state I wouldn't be daft enough to put in on PHs and then put a link to it with my current user id!
I guess your post means every car you have ever had has never had an issue that required a mechanical fix --- or perhaps more likely you've been sat in the corner licking your wounds waiting to take a cheap shot but it didn't work ?
LMAO you Loser.

By being abusive here and on the other threads (GT2) you're confirming this (and the others) got under your skin!
Happily I won't get dragged down into your standards of discourse either!
Off to begin a lovely weekend of Tres Reyes now (as we do over here!)!
Happy searching!
