dips to 2nd for really slow bits, er it's 85mph in 2nd is that really slow ?

you are driving some st roads if that is the case you don't see 2nd.

My issue is 85 mph is about the sweet spot for a blast out, so you cannot bounce it off the limiter for 3 hours in 2nd !!

that was my GT3 issue and if you let 3rd bog down ie changed into 3rd not on the limiter the car was crap in 3rd as you droped out from 6k revs

The GT4 saving grace I hope is torque peak 2k revs lower in 3rd than the GT3.

I know this does not seem to worry 90% of people here so only an issue for me, but it will decide if the GT4 stays or goes for me.

The most noticeable and profound change between the two cars is the enormous spread of torque, I think you will be very happy !

Nooo, say it aint so! I added P11 back in when the delay was resolved only a couple of weeks ago and removed the 12 o-clock stitching as that was added a 4 week delay.

Dealers must be getting even more pissed off than us with all the amended orders...

No call here yet, when is your expected build? Mine's October.

Uhmm! Mines an October build, or was. They want me to decide today if to switch to 18 way P07s.
No-one else had this call yet??
On another issue - Any of you guys consider this as an option?

The 18 way electrics are an interesting option. Seems that buckets have developed a sort of magical interest and are seen as a must have for resale. I'm sure they're brilliant for track but 18 way electrics more usable and more comfortable for road use. I might well switch to them if there is any delay on the LWBs.

Hi Steve,

Yes managed into one in the end, thank you.

Went out with Mike the other week for a curry. He's very busy at the moment. Can't even get my car looked at unless I go in and hold some spanner for him smile

I agree with you, it is the clamour for club sports and buckets in the classic market that is fuelling this frenzy.

Cannot see the point of paying for adaptives when sports seats plus are free and exactly the same seats without the weight of the electric motors and imo just as comfortable!
So my only choice would be between sports seats plus and folding buckets!

Yep, good point although I think the adaptive give more precise adjustment and more varied adjustment settings (eg angle of tilt?). I'm just a bit unsure about amount of height adjustment on the LWBs being 'only' 5ft 8ins (although not wide of girth!!).

The adaptives have inflatable side bolsters (unlike the standard seats - and have a wider range of adjustment). Don't knock 'em til you've tried 'em smile they're actually rather good.

As I keep saying, the LWB has a big range of height adjustment. I think if you are short or tall it's a safer bet than the folding buckets and I would be surprised if the sports seats have a bigger range of height adjustment.

Have tried them but the plain sports seats plus suit me fine and if I want a snugger fit then the folding buckets are seats of choice!
Hence if I want comfort spec. it's a no cost option! and won't be forever plain with the buttons to try and better my comfort settingbanghead
I am 5' 7.5" and tried the lwb seats and having at the lowest point is not a problem likewise tried adaptives and higher up not a problem either so folding buckets should be spot on for me

Have you thought about folding buckets as an option? Me being slim I found them more snug than lwbs hence my previous post

I'm 5ft 9" - found the LWBs far too uncomfortable, they were quite upright and had a lack of lumbar compared to the folding buckets which on the otherhand felt really snug, better padded and the angle suited me better.

However, this might not be the case for everyone and the only way you can really decide is by trying them out for real

I have and have sat in a Cayman GTS with then fitted. OK but slightly low for how I like to drive, even with the wheel fully lowered, which is why I thought LWBs with height adjustment might be better. Any delay might make me go for folding instead though.
