why would someone offer 30k over list when you can buy for 25k over list from a dealer ? Does not add up
don't ask me, probably one of the situations when if I said yes he would suddenly be quite. I would think they will be going for £25k to £30k over list when they finally hit the market in a few months but my one is not for sale.

Which dealer is that then?http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...
Not sure how it's relevant? It makes the assumption that the guy is even aware of the PH ad and even if he is, he wants the car as specified.

it's 997 Cup toe links.. How much camber are you going to be running? -2.5 front and -2 rear?
Any indication of the cost on these ? I assume they are not a warranty issue ?If not sure I'll ask my dealer and hopefully add some information to the pot

Please do as I have no idea. It would be ridiculous to assume changing a toe link is going to blow up the engine, so as far as manufacturer warranty goes, you should be ok. Extended warranties would be a bit different.
Changing anything not homologated for the model is going to blow up the warranty.Just back from my first proper fang since getting the rear ARB set to stiff. To quote Chris Harris, ‘WOW, WOW, WOW!!!’ Instead of constant very slight understeer unless you really provoked the rear, the GT4 is now completely neutral with steady throttle, and both backing off and accelerating lets you straighten the steering. The car feels so much more alive and agile, always on its toes instead of just being steadfastly planted, and seemingly without inertia or momentum at either end. It’s still confidence inspiring but now really holds your attention as you sense the reactions to steering and throttle inputs. Most of the time it feels like the rear tyres are just able to contain full throttle if you apply it smoothly. The steering is lighter and more willing and the front wheels feel directly connected to your hands rather than separated by a couple of metres of mechanical components.
Given the oversteer angle I got in a couple of hairpins with stability and traction controls on (like in the wet with the standard ARB settings) I think that — unlike Chris Harris — I won’t further sacrifice stability and traction by going to a soft front bar setting. However it would be nice to have lower second and third gears to be able to meter out oversteer more easily. And the newfound handling perfection raises the bar for the motor, which now feels like it could do with some extra fireworks at the top of third gear. Still, these small shortcomings in the drivetrain are easy to forgive in car at a fraction of the price of the competition when the build quality, chassis, steering, brakes, gearshift and clutch are the best that money can buy — and the last two are manual.
