Do we get an apology from some of the PHs on here who were adamant that his car was Ruf tuned ?

as a few of us who have been to the Ruf factory and know Alois we all knew he was talking Cr*p

I commented about having Ruf wheels but Wanna996 Gotta996 was convinced his engine was tuned

Dont believe everything you hear !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Pikey said that he was told the engine was tuned then that was fine by me. Can anyone tell when a car has had a 550bhp DMS or Cargraphic upgrade just by looking at it? No, they cant, and besides, no-one has proved that the engine has not been tuned???

I am sure some RUF customers love the power but hate the RUF Alloys & body-kits so it could have been possible though i very much doubt it.

I did comment at the time that it looked like a wrapped 997 Turbo.

If Ruf had tuned this car
the exhausts would have been different - they are standard 997 Turbo Exhausts
but this joker said it was a 997 GT2

You said it so " Matter of Fact "

I never said it was a RUF car. I didnt believe what the chap had said about it being a GT2 that visited RUF but preferred the look of the Turbo. It was nonsene, go back to the initial thread and re-read it, if anything, it was me that ridiculed what the chap told Pikey.

However, the car could have been tuned for all we know.

I need a new aerial fitting - any recommendations?

Joking aside, I do need another aerial fitting and if anyone knows anyone trustworthy in the Manchester area who will give good advice, not rip me off or try and sell me unnecessary equipment, supply and fit good quality parts and do a good job, please let me know.

Jeeeez -that was a close one then -the only reason we didn't go to The Bugatti for lunch today was because the road was blocked due to bridge work, followed the diversion and ended up at the Royal Oak instead!!!
