My Cup 2's have arrived. What is the best way to get them fitted?

1. Just go to the local Hi-Q/Kwik Fit/whatever. It's not hard, just ask them to be careful.
2. Ask my OPC to fit them
3. Get some sort of specialist tyre fitter who's used to working with nice cars with protective owners who don't want damaged alloys

If 3, any suggestions in Surrey (Woking/Guildford)?

Thanks in advance.

Porsche will just use a local trusted tyre fitter such as National. They will charge you silly money probably 200 quid to get them fitted.

I would be very cheeky, call the OPC and ask them who they use for tyres... Then go there...
Ive asked before who they use for paint etc, they're normally quite open to divulging.

Not much more expensive and a safer option.

I used the OPC as I wanted the ability to ask them to replace the alloys if anything went wrong - unlikely to work with a local supplier for a £80 job.

...however, if near Guildford then I have used Fuller Tyres before who also do a mobile fitting service. They fitted tyres to a GT3 with no issues

I believe DAB is only included as part of the deal if sound package plus is selected without PCM
Correct! Apologies for any confusion.
Don't think that is quite right.

If you spec PCM, it adds SP+ automatically, and you have to pay extra for DAB

If you spec SP+ only you cant spec DAB.

If you spec CDR+ you get SP+ and DAB automatically.

Or at least that's my understanding of it.

How much do they charge you per tyre out of interest?

I have never been charged yet, they even balanced two no Porsche wheels for me free.

Ordered two 911 rears with centrelocks from Oponeo who delivered to OPC who charged £30 per tyre inclusive.

Just down the A59, Whalley side. Regularly up your way in the cars and on the bike. Great roads.

OPC Bolton?

I think I pretty much got the spec spot on after hours of playing with different combos. Didn't exactly hold back in the end so mine isn't a cheap car but personally think all worth it. PCCB are epic, seats a must and personally went for Clubsport for the track days. All the other bells and whistles are just down to personal taste and how much you want to spend I guess.

Do you have a build / delivery date as yet? Always welcome to have a look if unsure on anything.

Pretty much sorted now thanks, just going to add PDLS

Got the seats, not gone for PCCB or Clubsport, I may regret the later as I will be tracking but mostly road trips etc, I am upto
75k which is enough for me for a "second" car

Being told July delivery, got all sorts lined up so can't come soon enough !!

Any chance of a quick nosey at yours before my spec is locked in ?

Cheers Lee

Bit of a question which I realise must have been asked before....

Is the extra cooling activated by the sport button possible to be switched on without autoblip that also comes with sport? Or are the 2 impossible to separate.

Sport and autoblip are on the same button.
- has a remarkable effect on coolant temps.

Also, rev matching definitely improves stability when pressing on in the wet. I had some instruction at Knockhill yesterday and we switched that on at the instructors behest.

The extra cooling that you get in Sport mode will kick in in non-Sport mode if you drive hard enough. I got a copy of the workshop manual that explains how the cooling system works. If you drive in what the car sees as "sporty" fashion with the sport button off, it will open the valves that lower the coolant temp to that of Sport mode.
