Doesn't include track day cover so far as I know. The quote (£634) was less for 5k miles than 3k miles(?) and includes my one SP30. I've also been recommended to try Classicline, Porsche Insurance Services and my present insurer Marsh (who have always been excellent and are reorganising at the moment).
Cool . Mannings unlimited UK track day cover seems unrivaled so I'll stick with them so have to suck up the tracker cost . As previously mentioned it's a pain but hey ho.

Got a good quote form Porsche(Walsh/aviva) £530 for 7k miles a year. Includes two track days. Also found out the following:
If its under £75k -no tracker needed.
If you insure it for £75k, that is the max you will get if it's binned. If you believe it's worth-say £105k you have to specify upfront, the cost then went up to £720pa

Contact detail for insurance please? If you go to £105k, am I right to assume you then need tracker?

I've been told by one insurer they will do their very best to replace the car like for like for up to two years and if they can't find a suitable car then they will pay the invoice value - is that about right? Or should I be asking them to pay an agreed value i.e. 100k?

On a car like this I would be seeking an agreed valuation.

How do we know what to value the car at yet? It's not even properly been on the UK market yet...

Which insurers are open to agreed value as well?

Aviva distinct gave me a competitive quote but not with agreed value - just the two year like for like replacement or invoice value if they can't source a car...

Just make sure they agree to your car being repaired and glass replacement at the OPC as opposed to their 'recommended' under the arches garage in the event of a claim.
ok for oem parts for the 1st 3 years life of the car, it's on older cars Admiral use non approved parts
Admiral have no problem in supplying an OEM screen, but you will have to have it fitted by their preferred supplier - if you want it fitted by your OPC (or other specialist) then they will only pay £50 towards it.

Just got a quote from the main Aviva website. They have an additional £200 excess if you want to use non-approved repairers. Quote is very competitive even with legal cover and protected NCB.

Thanks! I'll give them a try

My most competitive quote so far was with Aviva Distinct through A-Plan Insurance but they wouldn't allow market value so hopefully going direct through standard aviva will change that

What did you value you the car at?

Porsche use Walsh brokers, who use Aviva as the underwriter. Call 0845 605 4290
If the value is set at over £75k you need a tracker, but I have specified a non Porsche one.

Value was £70k, which is just over what i'm paying for the car as it's fairly basic spec. But I don't think values up to higher £70s would make much difference to the premium.

Ye, I had them ask me what the invoice price is but the actual value of the car is surely going to be worth more? 90k+ And they said they wouldn't insure agreed market value

Did Aviva allow the following: invoice price value (what you paid for the vehicle) and an agreed market value (what it's worth) ?

not 100% true, I have had to fight for a screen and they have changed their policy because of my claim.

they WILL NOT supply a oem screen on cars over 3 years old if they can get a non oem part cheaper, it's in black and white on their policy.

they use 2 companies one does supply a oem screen one does not. I also did not want either to fit my OPC bought screen, and I paid less for my screen than they did, so I saved them money !

It's been a fight I paid all up front for my OPC to fit in the end and then found loop hole and claimed it back. that loop hole is now closed.

If your car is less than 3 years old you can ask for a oem screen.

As I said above - cars less than 3 years old they will pay for an OEM screen but not your choice of fitter.

If you want to choose your own fitter - the excellent Glassman, for example... - they will only offer you £50 towards the cost, even if you refer the case to the ombudsman!

I did refer it and won + got all my Money back.

There £50 offer was laughable.

However, you also indicated the loophole was removed!

I appealed to the Ombudsman who claimed nothing could be done as this was clearly listed in the policy conditions. They did agree to up their offer to £150 as a goodwill gesture but I was still £850 out of pocket.
