Have you guys had any of your build \ delivery slots move around recently ?
My car was due build April, delivery May, in the last 2 weeks that has slipped back to a early July delivery.
Oh really! Were you given any indication as to why? Have you changed your spec in some way? Mine was May build, and I've got an end of March lock in. However, i still don't actually have a solid build date.My car was due build April, delivery May, in the last 2 weeks that has slipped back to a early July delivery.

Mine arrived today.
Very green!
Slightly disappointed it does not have the 918 seats I ordered and also about the Dunlop tyres but on the whole chuffed to bits with it.
Congrats, looks lovely, but how on earth can it not have come with the seats that you ordered? Didn't the dealer tell you?! Which seats do you have fitted then?Very green!

First I knew was today when they took £500 off the bill.apachesmith said:
Holy Sh*t that looks good.....
Ummmm you ordered 918 seats and they didn't supply..... surely the OPC needs to make good?
I'm pleased with the car and it still has carbon buckets but not the knockout seats I ordered and was expecting.Ummmm you ordered 918 seats and they didn't supply..... surely the OPC needs to make good?
I am not going to kick up a fuss - they know how disappointed I am that my expectations were not met 100%.
It is beyond their control what seats were installed - I know that. And they understand I am disappointed the spec was changed without telling me.
First World problem - not worth losing any sleep over.

Nice to hear a sensible outlook . The folding buckets are still good and the dealer owes you a favour now for not kicking up a fuss :-) It is beyond their control what seats were installed - I know that. And they understand I am disappointed the spec was changed without telling me.

Edit : and it looks great !

Congrats. Your car looks fantastic and I think you're right not to over-react re the seats. I am not going to kick up a fuss - they know how disappointed I am that my expectations were not met 100%.

Mind you, it would have been hilarious if it haD bEen soMeONe else's car....!
I've been out driving mine in the sunshine today and have managed to avoid ditches despite having the Dunlops; I don't think you'll find they are an issue.
Enjoy.

I still live in hope. I'm told I am currently second on the list should they get allocated any more build slots. I'm keeping my deposit there for now as if I pull it then I haven't got a chance. Which OPC are you dealing with?
Leeds, i am going tommorrow, i will ask for youCheers Lee
Went and saw mine today (Mexico Blue). Pics don't capture colour at all well on iphone but would have been rude not to take a quick cold start video. Will post a link when I get it up loaded. Colour is lovely in flesh, really pops.
Being PDI today ready for me to collect on 7th March, cant wait.
Came on the Dunlop Sport Race Maxx not the cup 2's (as did the other Carmine I saw).

I wasn't really bothered about the tyres as they can be replaced when worn (Dunlops I don't think will be bad at all, get good reviews it seems as a friend pointed out). Very green!

However seats would be a big issue for me and i'd be livid if that was the case in mine. I went to great length to try all the seats out as have an old back injury (broke it many years ago in a crash) so it stiffens up real easy so have to make sure I try the seats in a car I buy before hand. My back and my height (short ass) combined I personally found the height on the folding buckets gave me a bad back in another Cayman on a 45 min drive.
I couldn't live with it like that and if they couldn't remedy for me would get shot of the car as nothing worse than a bad back. But fair play for taking it in your stride.

Cheers had heart set on it from day 1, so much better in flesh. I bet you can't wait! Let's hope all this ice and frost buggers off soon - early morning empty road blasts are the best!!Mustangs said:
Car looks great congrats . What brakes did you go for? Other spec ?
Ta - went steels (caliper colour to be changed).Other spec is nothing too grand as was trying to limit myself (my wallet / wife was) to £75k - LWB, clubsport (both harnesses), leather, yellow stitching, CD-R+, PDLS and a few other bits and bobs.

Yellow painted I take it? will look uber cool. Sounds like you have the important bits and spec'd to a sensible priceOther spec is nothing too grand as was trying to limit myself (my wallet / wife was) to £75k - LWB, clubsport (both harnesses), leather, yellow stitching, CD-R+, PDLS and a few other bits and bobs.

No not changed the spec at all since my initial order confirmation, I've been assured it's nothing to do with my car, and was also told that sometimes messing with the spec can push the car back, but on this occasions they seem just to be moving around all GT4 builds, which is why I asked on here..PS - the Green looks awesome !

Did well to keep that under 75k especially with PTS! Other spec is nothing too grand as was trying to limit myself (my wallet / wife was) to £75k - LWB, clubsport (both harnesses), leather, yellow stitching, CD-R+, PDLS and a few other bits and bobs.
