A few pics of Porsches at the Sytner Supercar Festival today,

Like last year they split the porsche and Ferrari sessions up. This meant that the afternoon supercar session was a bit sparse compared to porsche session. Very nice cars though!

Click the images to get the larger version, the forum resizes and so they may look a bit squished viewed in PH.

Anyone know what the RTS porsche is with the bodykit?

Will post some more pics when I get through them, found out when viewing them on PC that i had dust on lense, so i have to clone it out of every pic

I'm a bit of a Porsche nut and can tell you the RTS Porsche is a conversion done by PSI Motorsport, in Belgium. It's called the RTS-3, hence the sunstripe quoting 'RTS'. I believe it is based on a GT3 (see last picture above for reference to changes!). The 'standard' power rating for these conversions is 540BHP, all through the rear wheels with the equipment hanging out the back! Must be a hairy handler! According to the 'bible', the conversion costs *cough* £45300 *cough*.

I do love the wide body though - definately one of the best looking 996 models!

I'm now really upset that I missed it!

I had the understanding the RTS car was based on a TT, they then made it RWD only - scary!!

The 3rd car is PSI as well. Is that the fastest at the top and slowest at the bottom order Stuart?

Is your car the red 911 with the carrera sticker on the side?

Your car was quick! and sounded good as well. You certainly seemed quicker than some of the modern stuff!

There was also a very quick 928 or 924 with yellow wheels.

Yes, Red RS is mine. The 924 was race prepared with 968 engine and one of the quicker ones out there. Difficult to shake off!

I despatched all but the top two and the 993(500bhp) turbo. Most of the modern Porsches were far too heavy for quick lap times. I was doing 61s I am told in the RS and 63s in the CS. I was driving the Maritime Club Sport too. Got 2 hours 30mins track time swapping between cars!

Exhaust on RS is Almeras (french) and sounds the dogs as everybody on the pit wall keeps telling me.

Great day!

Yes,

They're both mine Stuart. Good pictures and great weather.

Makes a change at Knockhill!

Some nice motors there that I would like to add to the collection.

993GT2 RHD would be the top of the list.

Only 2 RHD in the world!!!!

Shame the 3.8 RS RHD was not there this year as that is the other one I would like!

Only 2 of those as well.

I am a bit colour blind (red/green). Either the grass is red and the car is green or vice versa. Can't make up my mind. ;O)

If you see Maritime blue then you've got some other colour deficiency.

My Club Sport is Maritime.

It was because when you purchased the 968 you posted this pic with the line 'new addition to the family'...I just presumed it was your RS in the pic also

I picked up the CS from the Ring and went to test drive the CS there. I just happened to have a Maritime RS(German) parked beside me.

I got a lift to the Ring so I could pick up the CS. My wife stayed with the red RS at the Thermes in Spa.

But well remembered you petrol head.
