Leave them on, it looks great. And hurrah for tinypic! Just don't write tinypics by mistake (unless you like that sort of stuff)...

Shame no Porsche to support in LMP2 - next year perhaps?

It is definite, apparently.

It's official - Fotango is sh*te.

Has this worked???????

They look fantastic, helps that you have a pale blue car ... yes, leave 'em on until the end of the season

I'm getting some Gulf and various other old racing decals for EuroHoon ... I love stickers I do

On the pic front, fotango is closing down on July 14th so I'm hoping the new site that they are transferring to will reproduce the pics larger on sites like this, usually they only appear quite small. If not, tinypic it is!

I really like the stickers. Leave them on.

Where did you get them from?

Is there a good on-line shop for buying good quality livery?

Surely they might make the paint go different shades? If you leave them on for a long time surely the paint around about the decals will be paler than that under the decals?

Nice motor Mr Senna!!

I got the whole job done by a local vehicle livery specialist, 4-Corners. They're in Lisburn, N.Ireland. I've told the guy he should be making the stuff available on the web. Orange stripe is a standard run vinyl, Gulf stickers came from I say ding dong (E-Bay), all other stuff printed to order.

I got some good info from another PH'er about where to get the stuff but didn't need to go down that route. You might find it handier since they all seem to be mailorder or national.

------------------------------------------------------

This is the place I bought my gulf stickers last year and will be doing so
again £8 for 4 - loads of other stuff there to look through
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/I-Say-Ding-D

Cheap sheet vinyl rolls - I will be getting a 15" wide gloss 5m roll (I will
be cutting it down a bit narrower I think so you can cut into 2 strips)
£5.74 each
www.mdpsupplies.co.uk/

Black pinstripes for edging I got from Halfords if required for about £2 a
roll

Porsche badge stickers - look about half way down, various sizes available
£1.60 each
www.type-911.co.uk/giftideas.htm

Race number backgrounds £2.50 each
www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MSPORT&pcode=J/
AMCBGB

Race numbers £50p each
www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MSPORT&pcode=J/
AMC0

Rear window name decals with flags - also have stripes and stuff £19

Thanks to MB for the above.

The orange would look brilliant against a black background! Not that a 993 RS needs much help to look the mutts nuts!!!

I'm considering a Tuscan to run alongside the 911 - planning to spend maybe £25k on the Tuscan. How much would I have to add if I wanted a 993 RS (if I could find one - can't remember when I last saw one for sale in 911 World!).

Thanks for all the info FLAT 6.

Thanks for the compliments on my car!

Don't get a Tuscan. Add the 25 K to the value of your own car, add a little and get a good 993 RS.

They start at about 40K. Be VERY careful what you buy. I would spend 45K for a LHD comfort version minimum. If you do find one, e-mail me before you buy!

Definitely leave those on. That looks absolutely fantastic.

I second that. The 993 RS is quite possibly the best 911 ever built. They cause me to...ehm... 'pitch a tent' when I see them.

I Love the Gulf Colours, that looks great leave them on. Maybe remove the numbers and smaller Gulf stickers but leave the stripes
