Keep in your mind how much is the maintenance prices, as I know in my country the maintenance prices for the Aston Martin much higher than Porsche plus the reliability of the car and the brand name goes for the turbo S , only one advantage for the Aston Martin that it has look that keep all the eyes on you similar to the Ferraris , McLarens and Lambos.
Also I've seen the Aston Martin as a Luxury Jaguar no more.
This is my own opinion on the subject.

rather contradictory statements.What country are you in Grumpy, as in UK I would say Aston is a more prestigious name and has no negative connotations unlike Porsche (though Porsche is still a prestige brand)
