Hi to all, I was thinking of trying to organise a drive out/get together for all owners of just GT3 models.
Would need to be fairly central location for us all to meet as the cars will be spread across the country.
Any suggestions or if any one would be interested post it up or email me.

Hi, not sure about the combining it with trackday..... Not all will want this. Trying to get as many GT3 owners together in one place at same time as I think these cars are fantastic and would like to meet like minded owners.
The experience centre would be a good idea, any others?

I think that the point of combining it with a TD is to maximise attendance. If something were orchestrated at the Porsche Experience centre on the same day when there was a day available on the GP circuit then those on track could join for lunch and late afternoon and you would likely get more showing up. Equally, people not looking to track their cars could still partake of passenger laps during the day - surely not a bad recipe? The experience centre would be a good idea, any others?

Hi, any ideas on trackday ?
W/e trackdays in the summer are a virtual impossibility because the tracks are being used for race meetings. So, that leaves the Goldtrack OPL day on the GP circuit on July 30th (a Monday) as the only confirmed Silverstone date in July.
I'm up for it. It would be good to meet other owners at any sort of venue.
An alternative option may be to look at an airfield track day run by the likes of Motorsports Events at www.motorsport-events.com.
Hullavington near Chippenham has a 105dB limit so most GT3s should be OK
They run track days on weekends and are way cheaper than traditional race circuits, as well as being good fun.
Generally speaking, airfield events provide a much safer day out for the inexperienced as the run off areas do not contain gravel or armco - just grass/tarmac.
It may be possible to get a decent block booking rate for an advance booking in Spring/Summer, in fact if there were enough takers it may be possible to make it exclusive to us alone?
