Creaking noise from Cayman suspension?
Discussion
The passengers side on the cayman has recently developed a creaking/squidging sound as the rear wheel runs over any pot-hole/manhole cover in the road.
Easy to associate it to the cars suspension that "needs oiling" ...
Is this something anyone else has experienced or knows what is? (The cars less than a year old.)

FWIW my gt3 is going into opc Colchester Saturday as I've a creaking noise under the drivers side front somewhere that opc solihull failed to repair when I returned the car to them after i purchased it off the main website. Easy to associate it to the cars suspension that "needs oiling" ...

That problem was one of many but let's not get into that. Having read up on it today it's, apparently, a fairly common thing and is something to do with suspension mounts or the likes.
My car only does it after its been running for a while and predominantly in the wet for some bizarre reason.
This time I've told the opc I don't want the car back till its sorted as its a tad unnerving. If u google the problem you will find various explanations which this time I've linked to the opc.
I'll let u know the upshot!

you tell me the next set of lotto numbers and I will gladly repay the favour - in the time its taken you to ask the question and read the drivel written in reply, you could have already had your answer!
Woah relax, no need to spam the thread or be overly aggressive... Forum search is down, hence why I have asked the question to fellow Porsche owners who might have experience with this issue at an OPC (and I thought 911god reply was quite helpful)...
I dont really see what your issue is.
Any decent opc will do their level best to help. I called Colchester this am and the car is booked in and a courtesy car is ready for me this saturday. Weather the item is covered under warranty is another matter and they wont commit until they have investigated although my gripe will be that thhe problem existed back in November last year when Solihull deleiverd the car so im sure they will look at it favouably. However u look at it you have no option other than to get it looked at and given u have a warranty an OPC has to be your first port of call
I had a very similar problem with my Cayman last year. I took it to the OPC and they replaced the lower front suspension arm because they said one of the bushes had gone dry. If my car had been under warranty they might have just replaced the bush, I was paying so they replaced the whole suspension arm.
Either way, it was a relatively straightforward fix.

@911God, taking it to see them tomrrow AM too (not Colchester though), apparently a technican goes with you on a drive.
I will update as to what happens, I hope it is just the bushes drying out.
Thanks guys, very helpful info all round

I have similar noises from CS. On rough broken surfaces, not pot holes, the car makes horrendous noise, like all the tyre noise and suspension components are getting shaken like mad. OPC inspected but said the car was perfect, took technician out, he couldn't pin point noise, next option was chassis microphones.
The actual ride quality is perfect, it's just bloody noisy and annoying.
Anyone else have similar issues?
