Morning P/Headers.

I've got a fault somewhere on the front screen wiper, the motor works, the pull function works on the stork, it squirts and sweeps, the slow and fast constant wiping work fine, however, drop the stick down into 'intermittent mode', it sweeps once and stops, I've just changed the adjustable speed pot on the dash and it's the same, if I adjust the speed frequency from full anti clockwise, 1 click at a time clockwise it sweeps once, then stops after each click, and doesn't sweep again.

It may or may not be connected to the problem but the rain sensor seems to have packed up as well, (new screen and gel pack recently).

Any ideas..?

Sounds like the intermittant wiper relay, it's a blue relay above the fuse board in drivers footwell, part no 99661510300.

..Thanks, that makes good sense, and was my next on my list, I can hear the relay clicking in and out, but quite likely it's not doing it as it should..

Do you know if that might be connected to my rain sensor failure too..?

I would try removing the stork as the beak may be blocking the sensor.

..Problem continues, pot on the dash wasn't the fix.

Just picked up a new relay, the blue 1, but there's no slot in my board for it, I can hear an existing relay clicking in and out when the intermittent is activated, so I know something is working, but not properly, the only 2 slots for relays with the same pin layout as the new one I just picked, I've tried the new relay in and it throws up odd dash lights, so I know these are the wrong slots, The problem is that slot 16 which should have an identical blue wiper relay in, doesn't exist on my board, it's just a hole, with no wiring in it, slot 15 too..

Confused..
