Just picked up 996GT2

Just collected an arctic 996GT2 from Tom at 911V and a happy chappy!

Been out of Porsches for some time and it's good to be back.

The Gallardo will be a tough act to follow but looking forward to the rewards I'm sure the GT2 will bring.

There's no doubt in my mind it's quicker but also more "alive" somehow and much more feedback through the wheel. Maybe not as easy to push hard (not that I've tried yet!).

I have to say Tom at 911V was great to deal with and I look forward to doing business with him again in the future should I decide to change.

Been out for a good drive this morning and all I can say is WOW - when those turbo's kick in it flies! I think it will take some time to get accustomed to and no doubt I will not come anywhere near its full ability on the road. I think I made a good decision

Just miles mate, drives better than any garage queen, but is absolutely mint, might have it back myself!

I have a new baby so not able to check posts as often as I used too!

My wife is not into cars so we agreed a pact where I can have a "toy" for weekends

I've got to say I am thrilled with the GT2 and I've been lucky enough to have owned a few special cars over the years
