starting problems 997

My car has been in storage for 6 months and therefore has not been fired up
that often.

so trying to start up this weekend the first few attempts it just clicked
it took a few more times to fire this up

could the starter motor just be sticky as it has not been used on a regular basis?

any suggestions please.

Weak battery perhaps?

I know when my battery was weak / a cell had gone it did not supply enough amps to turn the car over.

Replaced the battery and was now fine

As above but sounds like a flat battery to me
