I've asked for a new hose pipe for my 47th and my wife says it's too expensive, despite the fact that I suggested going to Wilkinson's. Who is meaner ?

Only seen one photo of it, but it's a backdate not a 'real' pre 73 car

Did he come here for advice? Is Kate Moss a long time PHer? Hot66 claims to have seen a "photo of the car" but perhaps they have seen the car? Perhaps they own the car? OMG - Hot66 is Kate Moss!

Sounds like he want her dead lol. I am told that the handling on those early porkers took an awful lot of getting used to and with virtually no safety systems like modern ones you would have to be concerned.

That said, they are beautiful machines.

You were told wrong - a dream to drive, light and deft. Albeit nowhere near the road holding and safety margins of a modern car. A very differemt drive, but not the "widow maker" pub lore suggests.

I am pleased by that, my first car poster was a Porsche and though I have never owned one I would class myself as a fan. If I did have a large bank account I would go to the Porsche dealers before any other.

P.S I have not been told by a single person but more of what everybody seems to say. On this one I think Clarksons comments were in my thought though.

And also the arches, which are obviously wrong. Nicely but only half done.

This is what a real one looks like. Much missed. And 20k wouldn't have bought a quarter of it.

That'll be the illegal E847 KDP plate - no black & silver after '73 reg…

Who told you that?

In any event, this is likely to be a later shell with side impact bars in the doors at the very least.
